05/29/14 - Another true story.
There’s cold and clammy backup in the bottom of my bathtub
Something slimy clogging up the drain
It’s totally obstructed by the slow accumulation
Of all the stuff I thought I washed away
Now I want somebody else to clear it out
Want somebody else to clear it out
Want somebody else to clear it out
Clear it out, clear it out
But I don’t want to pay the price
No I don’t want to pay the price
No I don’t want to pay the price
For someone else to clear it out
There’s cold and clammy backup in the bottom of my bathtub
Slowly rising up around my feet
I can’t ignore it any more before it pours out on the floor
Gotta face the cold wet fact it’s up to me
I tried a plunger, but it did not work
I tried a plumber snake, but it did not work
I tried some chemicals, but it did not work
It did not work at all
I tried a bent wire, but it did not work
I tried another one, but it did not work
I tried the plunger again, but it did not work
Until I covered the overflow whole with a sponge
While I plunged
Now there’s icky inky vile and stinky gunk coming up into my bathtub
It’s nasty but at last the clog is free
And as my troubles drain away I watch them go and I must say
I can’t believe that all came off of me
