03/28/19 - Inspired by a reference in someone else's song to a time Amelia Earhart got lost in the fog and landed in a field in Ireland. I guess this is my contribution to Women's History Month.
Amelia Earhart landed in my yard
I told her she looked out of place
I said, “You may fly an airplane
But I’m gonna mansplain
The finer points of time and space.”
She was into me so into me so into me now
She was hanging on to every word I said
Hedy Lamarr drove up in her car
I told her she was looking cute
I said, “You may be a genius
But I’ve got a penis
I think that I know more than you.”
She was into me so into me so into me now
She was hanging on to every word I said
In my head
Dorothy Vaughan walked over my lawn
And told me I did not compute
She said my calculations were sadly mistaken
And showed the mathematical proof
They were not into me not into me not into me now
They were hanging on until they could escape
My male ego
