Two steps forward, one step back
Two steps forward, one step back
Two steps forward, big step back
Two steps forward, one step back (rpt)

Change is coming changes are coming (rpt)

Look at the people in the street
Marching without measure
How many people call your name
And it’s not with pleasure
How many people does it take
For to change the world
How many people does it take
For the world to really change

Preachers of white supremacy
Just prove the opposite
Look how our history repeats
When we don’t learn from it
How many people does it take
For to change the world
How many people does it take
For the world to really change

There are billions of people
Every one of them matters
And they all have a story
But we can’t fit them all inside our brains
But we have to do better
Our time must get bigger
How many people does it take
For the world to really change
