@ 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (doors open at 1:00) half hour set at the Tenth Spoo Willoughby Hoe Down and Cornboil

The Tenth Iteration of our annual celebration of Ceres, Persephone and Demeter, the grain goddesses, returns to the mystical land of Hammond to invoke the cleansing rites of the Eleusinian Mysteries, fortifying the celebrants in song and festive gaiety before Persephone’s return to the Underworld, where she abides pending her springtime return. Partake in the mysteries with us.

This year Spoo Willoughby returns to lead a corn fed lineup of his musically oriented friends which will include Dennis Leise, Jay Sebastian(Redd Klaatz), Jeremy Jacobsen, Mark Anderson and Dan Biemer (Captain Ambivalent), along with the possibility of a “who would ever have known” additional guest performer or two.

So hide the children, bury the silver, break out your best bib overalls (or at least a good butter-catching bib) and join us for another episode of the most unique concert event on anyone’s calendar in any year anywhere!

No Covid protocols but masks will be available.

Drop us a line if you intend on attending, so we can ensure sufficient corn for all congregants
